However, our worries were completely unfounded. From the moment we were met at the airport to the time we were dropped off, we were treated like King and Queen! The hotel was top class and our sales rep, Lyn put us at ease the moment we met. The rep had so much knowledge of Cape Verde and the buying process that we could ask anything and she knew the answer. Nothing seemed too much trouble for her, even when we wanted to revisit the same place over and over again to make our minds up, she never once made us feel we were a nuisance. Once we had decided to buy, the necessary appointments and documentation was so straight forward - we really don’t think we could have done it independently. Yes it was tiring but a fantastic experience and we felt sad leaving as we felt we had known Lyn for years! Alan | I am writing on our return from Cape Verde to thank you for the support given by DreamLocations in our search for a Cape Verde. As you know we had decided to go under our own steam as we didn't want to be in a pressured situation with our only previous experience being "timeshare salesmen". We need not have worried as from the moment we met the advisor at the Hotel we were put completely at our ease. There was no sense of pressure, only a desire to understand our wishes and to present properties which might fit the bill. Roy acted at all times as a gentleman and in the role of a facilitator rather than a salesman. Once we had decided on our new home, Roy provided support every step of the way with the contract, visiting the solicitor, the notary, the furniture shops, alteration requests. No request was too much trouble and all the time he anticipated our potential anxieties and worries even to the extent of cash flow problems with the initial deposit. Should you wish to use any of my comments, please feel free to do so as I cannot speak too highly of Roy's support. As head-teacher of a large primary school I deal with many agencies and companies and the quality of service given by DreamLocations is rarely surpassed. The inspection tour staff went out of his way to make us feel at home in Cape Verde, his service was excellent, taking us to the best restaurants, trying to find the property we wanted and explaining all the legal side of the purchase. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
